Seems like it cost $82k for the entire travel party of 509 including the full band. Really I don't care what or how they spend their money. Fine by me if that's what they want to do but its odd the math doesn't even come close to adding up.
"The final tally was $913,542, of which the conference accounted for $475,000. Western's bill was for $438,542.
It cost $316,992 in travel expenses for the team and staff, while lodging was $110,848. For the travel party, $60,962 was spent on transportation and $21,415 for meals and lodging."
Based on these numbers there is $403K in missing in expenses.
...Looking at the bottom graph I question if the author did the math correctly.
