Nah, I'm convinced any jinx was a result of lumping all the "non-Rice" games for the weekend into one thread. We'll give this one the full attention it deserves.

Double play and caught stealing ended the T2, but not before a couple runs got across. 2-3 now headed to B2.

MTSU got the 2 back in B2. Now 2-5 in T4, WKU with a double to lead off the 4th

WKU only strands 1 in T6,
MTSU strands 2 (but scores two more). 2-7 after 6, going to T7

WKU had the win on Friday, but their idiot of a coach decided to take out his best reliever (Elder) going into the bottom of the 8th inning, after 1.2 lights out innings, in the hope of saving him for other weekend games. Great move, Coach!
