Sometimes I pretend that I have the choice to bring one back. It's always Jimi.

The man was musicincarnate in human form.There are others who did that for the rest of us regular type humans. But only a few who did it so consistently from day 1.

Hear My Train, Band Of Gypsies, Electric Ladyland, Cry Of Love-just for the cut Angel, if for nothing else. It's the first album that hooked me though. Much of that stuff is the estate, making money off his legacy. I guess I can't blame them.

Just this afternoon, in the Blues Tent at Music Fest, Will Tucker, young guitar wizard, said if he could bring anyone musician back, he would choose Jimi. He said, "Just imagine what music he might have gone on to make!" Will ends most of his shows with Zoodoo Chile, and if you haven't seen him yet, get down to B.B. Kings on any Friday or Saturday afternoon for the early show. You will be blown away. His knowledge of guitar gods is deep and broad.
