That's true on both sides. There are probably a lot of people who post here who want them to get off/go to jail no matter the guilt/innocence.
Im kinda going to disagree. I would guess the majority of posters on this forum are educated and understand the dynamics of all of this...regardless of their political leanings. I would bet that the vast majority just want to see "true" justice. JM2C

Hardly. Those you assume just want to see them get off in reality just want the truth. I havent seen anybody say or insinuate that they should get off scott free regardless.

I haven't seen anyone say the opposite, either. Stop making stuff like this a team sport.

We'll see. I hate to get too involved in this, but I've seen the character of these posters.
Alan Dershowitz: #Baltimore Prosecutor Overcharged Officers, Identified With Protesters, Saying “You’re At Forefront Of This Cause And As Young People, Our Time Is Now”
Dershowitz is no right winger. He nailed it from a legal standpoint. That prosecutor was making a political statement today.
Booking Photos Of the Six #Baltimore Officers Charged Bust Racist Narrative…

White racists clearly…
Quote:The mugshots of the six Baltimore police officers charged in connection with Freddie Gray’s death were released by Baltimore police Friday evening.
The most serious charge: second-degree depraved-heart murder for the driver of the van, Officer Caesar R. Goodson Jr.
In addition to the charges against Goodson, another officer was charged Friday with several counts, including manslaughter and involuntary manslaughter. Two other officers face charges including including involuntary manslaughter. An additional two officers are charged with several counts, including second-degree assault.[…]
Mosby’s announcement Friday brought cheers from onlookers at her news conference. Motorists in Baltimore honked horns and support exploded online.
Prior to the announcement, protesters had planned at least four rallies in Baltimore to express their frustration with what they said was a slow pace of the investigation.

And I believe the two senior officers, as well as the van driver are black folk.
So now what? Just hate on the cops in general? Good luck with that, I've said it before, if that's the case then fine. Let these peace officers pull out entirely and you all take care of your own schit.
Wait. What? You're the first to call when something goes awry? Clean up your own backyard, it's free and makes everyone feel better...

He's a defense lawyer. He does not typically sing praises of prosecutors.
The timing of this definitely seems off. These charges are filed less than two days from the media link that Gray's death was self caused. I can see negligence charges being filed, due to Gray not properly being secured in the van. I agree with the Harvard law professor. The defense attorney's for each of the police officers are going to have a field day with this prosecutor.
