Going by the spring game, the defense looks like a mess. The secondary will be better, but linebacker and gulp interior defensive line take a step backwards. Maybe some diamonds in the rough or a late transfer will help on the defensive line. Does anyone know why hey keep the kid from Cleveland on the offensive line (Bowen). He is supposed to be a tremendous athlete and he does not come close to 300mpounds.

Several projected starters were not playing in the spring game.

I say, set your goals low and you're not likely to be disappointed. A bowl will be nice.

2 years back to back no UC player drafted. Previous coaching staff left some major holes. First time that happened since
1995-96. There has been an issue with talent/depth in certain areas.
Current staff has done a good job fixing some the holes with transfers, jucos, and with some young players.

We were 7-1 in the conference last year, @Hurricanes @OSU not easy.

We get one of those games @Nippert this year Hurricanes. Hoping for 10-2 just like last year. Goal is to be the highest rated conference champ.
It is possible, but I do the D will struggle again.

Edit, UCF had had back to back years with having 1st round draft picks.
