That first photo is almost depressing. Definitely nostalgia.

Yeah, I miss the days at The Pyramid too.

How many hotel rooms do they have at Bass Pro?

RE: Bass Pro Pyramid: Open for Business
according to the CA, 103 really cool looking rooms...

[Image: 1107_malo_basspro_show03_1415305021870_9...40_480.jpg]

after the store closes, they will take hotel guest out on the "swamp" in boats (for sale, of course) and show them how to fish.

rooms start at 249, go up to around a grand a night for the whole "experience"

DOWNTOWN MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) - Memphis peace activists are planning a peaceful demonstration at the new Bass Pro Shops.

FOX13 has learned during that protest a letter will be delivered asking the company to hire from within the community.

FOX13 obtained a lawsuit filed against Bass Pro in 2011 from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

This complaint is the reason behind the protest. We are told the demonstrations will be nonviolent, like others they have had in the past.

They plan to deliver the letter to management and ask them to hire locally and be diverse in employment.

Paul Garner of the Mid-South Peace & Justice center says the company must have a good hiring record in the city.

City Housing Director Robert Lipscomb says the city helped in the hiring process at the Bass Pro in the Pyramid. He is satisfied the employees represent Memphis.

Hey buddy, I'm not the miserable. Apparently the mid South peace and justice folks are gulping down the haterade.

I think it's great.

I said nothing negative. You are looking for stuff that aint there.

Your shot about football is wasted, but it does reveal you for who you are.

I can believe it. Reminds me of a comment overheard from a West Memphis council man when they held the hearing about changing the laws in order to shut down the race track. Councilman Coleman was over heard complaining that it was a white sport in a black community. Seeing that the patrons of Bass Pro will be around 75% white you knew that the MidSouth Peace and Justice center would have something to say. I say 75% because many rural blacks are into hunting and fishing.

You couldn't pay me to go near that place for at least a month or more. Let the new wear off and you get to see the same things without massive crowds. Best thing about this is it will draw during the fall and winter months since that is hunting season.

Not as bad as your act. The guy is a Memphian and has said nothing negative about the Tigers. Always quick to show your ass. Typical.

^^^^

Haha.

Seen many a person trying to hit a trifecta to pay the utility bill over there, especially before the renovations.

Place is pretty nice now.
