Congratulations U of Cincinnatti
Your upgraded scheduling bodes well for you. Home and Home football with UCLA
It would be nice if a certain AAC team whose colors are Olive and Blue would follow your lead instead of scheduling South Alabama, LaLafayette, Maine, Army, Rice and other losers.

There's a lot to complain about regarding Tulane athletics but the FBall schedule (at least recently) has been fine. Last year we actually had one of the better SOS in the league tmk. Cinci typically plays one low major a year as well.
Is that you Savcool

Wow, first post comin' out with a bang, huh?
...totally true though. We've upgraded a bit for a couple seasons, but our long-term outlook isn't so great schedule-wise.

It would be impressive if a certain AAC team whose colors are Olive and Blue would actually beat South Alabama, LaLafayette, and other losers.

It's really not that bad and very incomplete.

Tulane needs wins and a few bowl games before we start playing a power schedule.
Ideally speaking, a Tulane nonconference schedule should have two easy games and two hard ones.
Entering conference play at 0-4 guarantees that nobody will come watch you in November.
Cincy are in a better position to take risks. The UCLA series is a wise gamble for them.

With Tommy T leading UC, now going into his third year at Cincy. The future is looking great.

What gave you that impression, his name?
I'm still waiting for Tommy to put together a complete season.

Yeah, I'm still not sold on Tommy. Both seasons we have played like garbage early in the year and in our bowl games.

Why not double "d's"?
The key to remembering the proper spelling for Cincinnati is to know that the city was named after the Society of the Cincinnati, an honorary society whose members were prominent Revolutionary War veterans. The society, in turn was named after the famous Roman statesman and citizen-soldier, Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus, ca. 450 BC (Cincinnati is the Latin plural of Cincinnatus). Cincinnatus was elected emperor of Rome out of gratitude for a military victory which saved Rome, but he famously and voluntarily relinquished the title and returned to his civilian life as a farmer, a gesture which should be emulated more often by today's politicians (think term limits).
So, there should be no excuse henceforth for anyone to misspell Cincinnati. It's based on a Latin name, and a famous one, to boot. I mean, nobody would misspell Joolious Seezer, would they?
