SBNation (AAC Previews): The big UCF football guide
The big UCF football guide
http://www.sbnation.com/college-football...ule-roster

summary:
"thanks to a more stable run game and experienced quarterback, the offense should improve a little despite turnover at receiver.....Still, teams returning only nine starters have averaged a drop of about 12.6 percentage points over the last decade....I don't foresee such a drop....With a schedule that features only three teams that ranked better than 61st last year (all on the road), the Knights should expect to win another seven to nine games"

Can't really complain about his prognostication.

I thought the pass defense was better than he said last year, but I guess these numbers don't lie.

I hope we can somehow squeeze out a 10 win season, with a win over someone we're not supposed to beat (Stanford / USCe). Wins @ Cinci, vs. ECU will be determined by how well the secondary meshes.

Where would you be willing to see 5 losses? (assuming no CCG + Bowl game)

FIU - W
Stanford - L
Furman - W
USCe - L
Tulane - W
Temple - W
Cincinnati - L
Tulsa - W
Houston - L
UConn - W
ECU - L
USF - W
Bowl - W

That'd be a less than mediocre performance in a season we SHOULD improve in.

Down to Navy, Cincy and Memphis for the top 3 spots.

I won't. When Holman leaves we have a problem as we haven't yet found our qb of the future
