Speaking of the NCAA stuff. From what I heard from someone very high up in the AD it was the most absurd case of NCAA eligibility nonsense that I have ever heard of, and the reason he was not able to play here last year.

What is that, like 7 people from ODU who went to the NFL?

It has been really great to see all of these ODU athletes get a chance to make it in the NFL. There are 7 former ODU athletes who have either UDFA status, or have signed to go to mini-camp with various teams. Technically five of them were from last season's Monarchs football program as Larry Pinkard (Bowie St.) had transferred, and of course Ross from basketball. It is a fantastic showing though, and I'm sure it is being used to full advantage on the recruiting trail.

Not only can you point to the fact that the football players have a chance to make the NFL, but ODU football is so on the radar, that the NFL is even taking a look at our basketball players!

The one I REALLY want to watch is Ross. I know what Taylor can do, I've seen it for 4 years. Ross is different. And he -can- be flashy as heck.

He got a lot of screen time in that video considering the length of the video, I was impressed. Hopefully he's proving himself and showing potential as a backup and maybe even something more.

It would be awesome if the Vikings were selected to be on Hard Knocks.

That would be strange. TH was on that MTV reality show when he was at Collins Hill. Talk about coming full curcle.

TH was identified as one of the top three rookies at the Vikings Rookie Mini-Camp.
