Question for Temple fans
http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2015/...ee_fi.html

Quote:Mark Ingram, the associate vice president and executive senior associate AD at Temple in the American Athletic Conference. His background is in athletic development and fundraising. He's also worked at Georgia, Missouri and his alma mater, Tennessee. Ingram also played football for the Vols.

Mark Ingram is one of the three finalists for the UAB AD position. What can you tell me about him good or bad? Don't hold anything back.

Would he be a good hire?

RE: Question for Temple fans
He hasn't been at Temple that long. TBH, I don't know much about him other than he has a stellar background.

I remember his father playing for my Philadelphia Eagles. A quick search shows that senior is serving 7 years in prison for money laundering and fraud. I realize that those penalties do not get passed on to his son but it may cause one to consider it. Junior, on the other hand, may be a perfect fit but I have no idea.

Not what this article says, see ling below:

Quote:Mark Ingram, Sr. (born August 23, 1965) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League who played for the New York Giants (1987-1992), the Miami Dolphins (1993-1994), the Green Bay Packers (1995), and the Philadelphia Eagles (1996). He is the father of the 2009 Heisman Trophy winner and New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram, Jr. Both were drafted in the 1st round of their respective draft classes as the 28th pick overall.

RE: Question for Temple fans
This guy is killing me. Everything he says about Temple hurts my head considering he hasn't even been to campus in my lifetime and I'm 26, despite the fact that he lives under 2 hours away from campus.

Yeah, dude, if his name was Joseph Smith it would mean his father founded Mormonism...

I'm not sure why Googling is such a struggle for people. http://www.owlsports.com/staff.aspx?staff=412
