To reiterate for many on here why libertarians are different than modern liberals is right here. Libertarians want people to be able to exercise their rights and do not care what people decide for themselves. Modern liberals champion a cause that appears to be based on increased civil liberties; however, they also have a sinister goal to drive social change on top of that and basically force people to accept viewpoints even when people have the freedom guaranteed in our constitution to not do so.

They want to destory everyone, even their own, who doesn't toe the political line. McCarthyism at work.

Wanting to silence those you disagree with is nothing new. It just so happens it is those on the left who are most deeply engaged in it. The social justice group are consumed by this type of thinking. They are the worst kind, the kind that destroy people and attack others with the full weight of their warped conscious behind them.

Just another case of the left and their intolerance of differing opinions. Yet they preach about the intolerant right wing. The left has more hate than the right could ever begin to drum up.

Basically, these two clowns are different than other homocons (such as Peter Thiel)... these guys make their money off the LGBT community.

And they've had some issues with other behavior seen as not helpful to the community, such as the issue of a dead young man overdosed in their bathtub and other substance abuse related crimes.

These two clowns are Gay. We hold our own community to a higher standard. People outside of the community might not understand the implications of Cruz's votes around LGBT issues. They know what they implications are and don't care. Ignorance isn't as bad as opportunism. And many believe that these two clowns would rather have a tax cut, presumably so they can entice more poor drug addled guys over 20 years younger than them over to their apartment for afterparties.

And its not like anyone can look at any vote or policy position by Cruz and not see it as extremely homophobic. Sen Kirk? Sen Toomey? Sure, you can defend those two (not well, but at least its plausible). Cruz is running a homophobic campaign. He just wanted to find two clowns willing to bless his campaign. And in two drug associated plutocrats, he found his 'useful idiots'.

There's little point in 'talking with Cruz' at this point. He's a demagogue and will remain so for the forseable future. Cruz knows exactly what he's doing. There's a reason Cruz didn't meet with anyone respectable. They would have said.."okay, so why are we meeting. What is the result you want to achieve from this meeting?".

But basically its simple...p*ss off your customers, and you'll lose them.
