I know you meant to say Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce was one of the best bassists and singers of all time. I dug the Baker Gurvitz Army. As well as the Graeme Edge Band. Edge being the Moody Blues drummer. Adrian Gurvitz was the guitarist in The Graeme Edge Band.
LOL, yep, i even had Ginger Baker's image in my head, when they had to tie the drumsticks to his hands.

If you have not seen " the incredible mr. baker," watch it - ginger is a madman but very, very talented.
clapton puts him in a whole different realm than other drummers - saying he can compose music and basically calling the man a genius.

I've seen The Incredible Mr. Baker. I just wish I had the polo pony money he went through. I have always recognized him, as one of Rock's greatest drummers.

I saw Ginger Baker with Cream in Dallas in 68' on their farewell tour. It was the single most amazing drum performance I've ever seen. However, the opening band was Vanilla Fudge, so I got to see two of the greatest bassists ever on the same night.

It's incredible the place that a favorite artist or band can have in our life, isn't it?
