I ran into a disheveled man in a Waffle House parking lot this morning. He had some critical info on conference realignment. It involved JMU, Liberty, Florida Gulf Coast, Belmont, Lamar, Jacksonville State, EKU, and many other teams. At first I didn't believe him, but after he brought out some documents from his shopping cart, I totally believe him now. I now know everything that will happen....

But in deference to C2, I'll keep it to myself as to not to make him jump off the ledge.

You can at least make it somewhat plausible, I haven't jumped yet.

The hottest new rumor is that all conference commissioners are getting together and putting all conference names into a hat. Every 10 years each commissioner will pick out a name and that will be their new conference name. All bowl and media rights will be moved with the conference name.

UC Santa Barbara is joining the Big 12 to provide the conference with a little beach property in California. Must see tv, those basketball and baseball games with Texas Tech. Culturally similar cities, too.

I can honestly say that this board has deteriorated. I now understand why you wouldn't tolerate certain nonsense from people when you were a Mod Bit (I was one of those people, but learned quickly).... The SEC Board has now become a better place to have realignment discussions in my opinion.
