Doc can really sing
Just got back from the Jewish food & cultural festival at War Memorial stadium. Heard Doc sing such classics as "it's hard to be kosher in Yazoo City", and "I don't look good naked any more".

He is a really good singer.

RE: Doc can really sing
Maybe Doc could sing the National Anthem before a game next season. I would love to have been at the festival. Maybe one of these days I can make it.

I appreciate the kind words. We had a good time. I was fighting a cold and cough so I wasn't in the best of voice, but I think I only coughed during a song once. RBL mentioned a couple of original songs, but I did some well known songs like Johnny Cash's "Sunday Morning Coming Down", and "If I had a Hammer". Had a larger crowd than I anticipated at 11:00 A.M. on a Sunday morning. RBL and the missus were right there on the front row supporting me, and I really appreciated it. As far as the National Anthem, that's one I won't ever want to sing in front of a crowd. My 80 year old voice doesn't have that kind of range anymore. I'll leave that to the youngsters. The crowds at the festival were amazing. I don't know the exact figure, but I would estimate between 10000 and 15000 people came through there yesterday. And I think everyone had a great time with great food, exhibits, and live music all day. Hopefully those of you who couldn't attend this year, will make it next year. Hope I'm still around and able to sing. Every year's a bonus now.04-cheers
