So far in 7 years, 1. But we did have a major component of 1 class transfer to Rhode Island.
#FACT
Joe Jackson, Will Barton, Adonis Thomas, Shaq Goodwin and Austin Nichols add up to more than 1. Add that to Tarik Black, Chris Crawford, Kuran Iverson and Nick King who were just below that list. Then you have Geron Johnson rated by some as a top juco and Dixon who was Big 12 defensive player of the year. And I'm not even counting Elliot Williams or the nut case Kendrick. You give Gregg Marshall, Bruce Pearl, Archie Miller or Shaka Smart those players and I guarentee you they make multiple sweet 16s in a 6 year span. Oh wait they've already done that with LESS talent.
#FACT
JJ and AN are the only guys who had legit offers to join the blue bloods as FR.
The coach's you name get the players that fit their systems.
I want a new coach.
Shaq Goodwin was recruited by UCLA. But you're right about the system? What is Josh system btw? I see that stupid A/Horns set with the two post players jogging to the top of the key. But that's about it.
It looks like what many of the NBA teams do to create mismatch's. But with the lack of execution it's really hard to tell.
If I never ever see another high ball screen it will be too soon. It's ruined the game IMO. The only two that ran it correctly were Stockton and Malone

It really requires two elite and versatile players. The Bulls (Rose and Gasol) killed the Cavaliers with it in Game 1.

Nick King to Alabama ...
I don't see any site that has Memphis as a Top 10 class.. Just wondered because I keep reading that.. In Fact the Lawsons have dropped a lot compared to where they were ranked a couple of months ago.. They did have one of them a 5 star and the other a 4, now they are both 4's and Brodie has always been a 3!! Some recruiting sites don't have us ranked at all.. One has us at 15..

You seem to be missing the point. It was said once here, so it must be true.

"For the third time in his tenure as head coach at Memphis, Josh Pastner has secured a top-15 recruiting class. One of the main reasons why the Tigers have the No. 12 recruiting class in the nation is because of Dedric Lawson, who signed with Memphis last fall."
Later, with the addition of Ricky Tarrant, It took the Tigers into the top #10...I remember the article about the transfers and RT added bring Memphis into another top 10 class....#12 is Not bad either and Not too far away! JS

None are locks to start for a team that didn't make the NCAA tourney. That is not a top 10 class. But let the hype continue. It fits the agenda for both sides of the fence.

I am just debunking his supposed recruiting prowess in which most know if not for hiring Mr. Lawson he wouldn't have been top 100!!

Conley and Gasol run a good high ball screen too esp since mark is such a good passer from the high post.

So, I guess in your opinion, Josh's recruiting hasn't been all it's been cracked up to be in his career here?
