The WKU announcers just compared Stephens pitching motion with "those coming over from Japan."

The first returns do not portend our sweeping them. 2 in scoring position. No outs.

WKU has something going on with no outs. Single followed by a double leaves runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs.

Ground out to first gives WKU the lead 0-1.

FYI, here's a link to the Google Maps satellite view of the WKU baseball field (Nick Denes Field) -- https://goo.gl/maps/Oxmnf -- which shows University Blvd., the busy road hard by the 1st baseline that was traversed by two of Kirby Taylor's T1 foul balls.

WKU respects Kirby's arm on a shallow fly ball to left and the runner holds, out two.

WKU announcers are already whining about balls and strikes I.e. The plate is too wide.
