It's a quick lazy way to build straw men. In terms of mental capacity beating u pa straw man is about the best some folks here can do.

Its what they're best at. Media and those with the same opinion all believe racism is the high card, once it's played the argument is over as far as they're concerned.

No, not the same at all and its not hard to recognize the difference
What are the differences between the two that you think inherently make this comparison not work?

No one needs a religious text to understand why murder, rape, theft, etc. are wrong.
Your talking point is pure opinion with nothing of substance to it.
Well hell you ignorant turd, obviously you, Hillary and many others need something. Jeez Louis. Maintain a position that murder is nothing more than a choice then claim you understand why it's wrong.

I'd think the burden of proof lies with you since you say the arguments are basically the same.

I agree, and thank you for saying it.
I feel that threatening to take away my church's tax exempt status, or to sue my church, because we won't marry a gay couple, is a pretty good example of people trying to force their values on me. I agree with you that this is wrong.

Right!
We went from the misnomer that I want to force my values in the left's bedroom to the reality that the left wants to force their morals into my Church.

Religious freedom? What’s that?
Quote:NEW YORK — Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton took a feminist tone on Thursday. She told attendees at the sixth annual Women in The World Summit that “deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed” for the sake of giving women access to “reproductive health care and safe childbirth.”
“Far too many women are denied access to reproductive health care and safe childbirth, and laws don’t count for much if they’re not enforced. Rights have to exist in practice — not just on paper,” Clinton said.
“Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will,” she explained. “And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed. As I have said and as I believe, the advancement of the full participation of women and girls in every aspect of their societies is the great unfinished business of the 21st century and not just for women but for everyone — and not just in far away countries but right here in the United States.”

A lot of it depends on your beliefs as to where life comes from. If you believe that you (or more properly, you and your mate) are the ones who created life, then it would be justifiable to take it away.
If you believe that a God (or the higher power of your choice) has a role in creating life, then you don't have a right to take it away since He created it.
