Coach Josh on Sports 56 right now
I really like the authenticity of the Daredevil series running on Netflix. In my book, the risk has paid incomparable dividends.

We get it children. Nobody is happy right now. Everybody wants better. Yada, yada, yada. Nothing you say makes one bit of difference except to spread more misery and discontent. You have become that which you hate about other malcontent fan bases. You have truly developed a sick soul over this.

I'm not saying to accept where we are. I'm not saying become a Josh supporter. I'm not saying to pretend that in any way you accept Josh or the state of our program. Just stop your hobby of grandstanding your misery and picking your nasty scabs in public.

I know I just wasted my time.

Agree to disagree, and we don't need a counter to know that you win for most "superior" post.

Pray tell why that is superior in nature. Because I acknowledged nobody is happy and I'm not asking anybody to be a fan or supporter of Josh. I love reading and talking Tiger sports but endless repeated threads that pick Josh apart for every waking hour has little to do with sports.

If anything, threads like this one only validate his comment. Many of you have said it in a number of different ways that there is nothing he could do to win his support. So he is criticized for saying exactly what people say here repeatedly!

My stance is we are not broke. We are not where we want to be and have not achieved what we wanted to achieve post Cal. Sports is a big business that pays coaches a lot of money. Every year ADs have to make decisions about personnel. I understand that because I do it every year also. It ain't easy.

My stance is also that the climate on a board a lot of people loved but have bailed on is decidedly negative. If that's what you like, more power to you.

1st bowl game ever for a young kid. Butterflies, but he made two big plays when it counted.

I'm not even going to lie, this is quality stuff right here!! I totally agree. Those miserable fans will always be miserable. That's what they love to do. Just let them do their thing, though. That's all we good fans and good posters can do. Just let the miserables be miserable!

He is only a Sophomore who went 10-3. If the turnovers do not improve next year....there is a problem. But, it should get better. He has too much going for him.

Josh Pastner on @Sports56WHBQ: "If we went 40-0 and won the national championship, people would still knock me for something."

IMO, Josh hasn't done enough to ingratiate himself with the fanbase to make snarky comments like that. I like the guy, but taking constant jabs at the fans isn't the way to do things when you haven't won something of significance.

Josh is talking to the vocal minority.

Minority? I think not. More than half of tiger fans want him gone.

Link?

Go to a game and look at the empty seats.

He will start the season on a very warm seat and I believe, based on dates, the first game could well be Oklahoma on Nov 17. It might be the second if MEMPHIS plays a buy game the Friday prior.

Anyway, he'll either have another inadequate season and be terminated...OR...he'll advance to the Sweet 16 or beyond and then accept a new coaching job elsewhere. If he's fired, Mr. 38-1 * is on record as saying he would hire Pastner back immediately.

Next April, MEMPHIS will have a new basketball coach.

And the TAMM's will have fresh meat.

Forgive me, but what's a TAMM? I would research it but, ya know.

Yep, last year at the Forum looked a lot like the Pyramid circa 2001. Bandwagon fans dressed as chairbacks.

That's what TAMS means, which most of us think of as the old ABA team here in Memphis. That was the reason for my question, originally. That's why I said the 2 Ms threw me off.

Yep the Memphis TAMS. I went to few of those games just to see Larry Finch play.
