Not to be a smartass, but you do realize it's Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical don't you?

Of course I do, but if I were advertising it the ALABAMA would be BIG and the A&M small.

Excellent idea!

I doubt it will fool anyone but it may make them think about the game more and perhaps go to it.

Not to interfere with Homecoming but I would love to see a pregame intro of Ring of Honor Members (or living relative).

What about $5 or free tickets to workers (and a family member) who rebuilt NIP?

Invite Kasich ® and Portman (Rino) and see if these OSU lovers will come.

This needs to be an extravaganza. Advertise it as Coming Home Weekend. The usual Sky Jumpers. Fireworks (can you do that on campus?), Stealth flyover. Have the Band do Script "CINCY" and have Ono dot the I.

Think BIG!

Excellent ideas, doss, especially the special invite of construction workers and their families.

A pregame screening of Star Wars. The crowd goes wild when Yoda and Jawa appear.

Beer festival? Invite all of the OTR brewers over and have them put up beer tents?

That is an awesome idea. Octoberfest theme, with the vendors inside, so you need a game ticket. Include one beer ticket with purchase of a game ticket...instant sellout!

Lots of room on the Eastside and you could do on the West also.

Now that the Sheakley Lawn is inside the gates, that would be an excellent spot for tents.

Free alcoholic beverages are not allowed under OH law. Win tastings I think get around it by it being a very small sample.

When we get a new scoreboard, we could put the old one in Sheakley. For sold out games you could show the game for free on the screen there (or for big road games).

Oh, it does. One year i was doing some serious substitute teaching, so I thought I shouldn't be spotted obviously guzzling beer at the local Oktoberfest. So I used a big, tall Cincinnati cup with a straw for my adult beverage instead. Worked so well, I am sure that my behavior had no one fooled.

A new scoreboard is needed, but those things are crazy expensive. The total renovation was $86 million, a new video board would likely push that to $96-$100 million.

Can we take the Bengals old scoreboard off their hands?

The PBS scoreboards are based on fairly old technology. You add up the costs of taking down the old one and installing one over 15 years old and well past it's prime, it's throwing good money after bad.

I heard the new Club Seats and Suites will have a custom display system to individual seat monitors.

Just kidding.
