Coach Foley has always said it normally takes a Freshman two years to really learn the concept. Now Alexious Dawn came in from juco, and seemed to understand how it worked. So maybe our experienced guys can pick it up quickly.04-cheers

Don't think Coach Beard is looking for freshman to build his team next year. He needs serious experienced players - transfers/juco etc.04-rock

He didn't seem to have a problem at his last school when he brought in a lot of experienced players & taught his offense. They had a really good record. I don't think there will be a problem with our returning players learning the new offense.

Motion offense is simple to run at a base level, which is pass the ball and screen away from the ball.

Teams that play a lot of juco's have to run simple offense that does not take years to learn.

We can learn and play it well enough to take advantage of JW and Higgins all SBC 1st team abilities, imo.
