RE: The Next Big Recruiting Tool
Couple weeks before signing day, I was on a flight with David Shaw from Charlotte to Jacksonville (Charlotte was a layover from his flight from SanFran). He was flying coach. I was puzzled. Thought that man would have better ways to get around.

I admittedly didn't read this whole article..but even as die hard Huskie fans, am I the only one who has serious issue with this? Unless 100% private donor financed...wow...

There are greater needs for state dollars we would think????

"Clemson’s booster club has committed to spending up to $4.5 million for the new jet, and if the cost exceeds that amount, additional funds will come from athletic revenue."

David Shaw isn't a household name and most people don't know what he looks like.

Never Heard of him – but then again, I couldn't tell you any PAC 10 football coach's name and doubt many Huskie fans could but I doubt less than 5% of Stanford fans would know that NIU played in the Orange bowl

Shaw has taken Stanford to two Rose Bowl's and a Fiesta Bowl since taking over for Harbough in 2011.

For those who don't know who David Shaw is, he is the next college coach who will go to the NFL.
