Southern and S.Miss will probably be the only games I will make it to. Seems like I remember a few years ago against Nevada in early September being the red out game. It was 95+ and the fire dept was spraying down the crowd.

No offense to Middle Tennessee, FIU or North Texas but it is going to be hard for me to drive 5 hrs to see Tech play them.

Lucky for you Denton is 4 hours from Ruston. about 20 minutes longer than Hattiesburg. Ah, never mind, if I have to convince you to watch your own team it's already a lost cause.

Why does the same ULL fan continue to stalk this board. I don't understand why he feels the need to linger on our board, or take shots at North Texas. No one addressed ULL in this thread. It is exactly this kind of behavior that keeps some fans from wanting to add ULL to C-USA.

Must be your year, Mean Green. Marshall now has you for Homecoming as well, Oct. 24, although that had more to do with Southern Miss being moved to Friday, Oct. 9, or the Golden Eagles would have drawn that spot. Still, for the first Herd-Mean Green game since the unforgettable 7-0 Marshall win in the I-AA playoff game in Huntington in 1988 (and the full-blow riot/fight between the two teams on the field after the game), Homecoming is a nice second meeting.

Like fans of other C-USA programs, I get on this board to talk sports with other C-USA fans. If I wanted to trade shots with you, I'd go over to realignment board.

North Texas has not played ULL since 2012, when we beat ULL 30-23 on national T.V. It's been 2 seasons since that game. We don't have an OOC game scheduled with you in the future either. It's over. You should just let it go.

After the way we played last season, I fully expected us to be everyone's homecoming opponent. It has been a while since the "playoff game". Let's hope we don't have a similar event this season. I'm looking forward to this game.
