Funny thing is, most of us don't see racism in our daily lives. It is really a media driven issue at this point, not an epidemic. Sure we have the outliers that make the news, but they do not represent the majority. Of course, media and politics will have you believe that it is an epidemic.

What do you think republicans should do to try and get black votes? Do you really think the democrats do much more than lift a finger to try and get black votes?
Even liberals and Obama himself have said that Democrats take the black vote for granted. And why shouldn't they? Hispanics have gone majority republican in the not too distant past, but blacks vote 90%+ democrat without fail. When you give yellow-dog loyalty to one party your concerns are not going to be accounted for, it's as simple as that.

Republicans are color blind.
Then why don't they campaign for minority votes?
That's just like police profiling. Republican tend to campaign on issues (sometimes poorly) and sometimes those issues tend to not appeal to minorities. I think they deserve some credit for not targeting a group based on race or ethnicity alone.

The Democrats made a decision 50 years ago to be the anti-white party, and that attracts minorities.
The belief that minorities only vote for democrats because they are so called "the anti white party" is in and of itself racist because it assumes that minorities are not capable of voting for a candidate based on the issues.
Thankyou for illustrating clearly why the republican party does not attract minorities.

Maybe because they prefer to just campaign for votes no matter the voter's skin color. It appears to be people like you, firmbizzle, who judge based on the color of other people's skin, rather than the content of their character. A vote is a vote, no matter the color, except for someone like you, who believes that color is the only thing that matters. Color didn't matter to this Republican, or to the people who voted for her, only 10% of whom had the same skin color as she happens to:
