RE: Pearl in town
We already have two of Fishers AAU teammates. I'm not sure how close he is to them but that can't hurt esp him knowing all we are lacking is guard play with Kedren and Tarrant gone after next year there will be mins to had. He could come in and start right away for his hometown team with his friends in a big time basketball city. Auburn doesn't even know they have a basketball team. Can't see it. I think we should be good on Fisher but I'm not an insider just reading the tea leaves here.

Gotta be tough selling a kid to play at auburn in front of five hundred people. I mean would you rather play in a nba arena be around nba guys and scouts all the time or be the laughing stock of the SEC. I can understand going to Uk, Ark, or Florida but Auburn? No thanks. All he can sell is himself really which I guess he's one of the best at that behind Cal.

You know Jason80 I used to say that alot, about the arena and NBA personnel but I can't see any one good thing that the Grizzlies organization has done to help the Tigers. I bet if you ask any of the current Tigers or the last 4 or 5 recruiting classes if they were helped because of the resident NBA team they would say no. I think a good on campus venue would produce much better results. Now if Zbo and Gasol had been working out with Tarik and Shaq an hour or two here and there, yeah I would say that would have been helpful. Maybe someone can shed some light otherwise. Proof: The Grizzlies haven't much more than sniffed at a single Memphis player other than Burks.

I'm not a Grizzly fan but didn't Lorenzen Wright play for them?
