RE: Rank the AAC non-conference games
A couple of the "biggest" wouldn't get my vote due to being nearly impossible.

Either Temple or Navy getting ND would be among the tops on my wish list.

RE: Rank the AAC non-conference games
memphis over kansas in the most likely
houston over vandy are the only 2 we'll be favored in

syracuse isnt good but neither is usf, but an improved enough usf should be able to take them

realistic major upsets would be: ole miss memphis (ole miss replacing some guys)
cincy ove miam/byu, a semblance of a defense and cincy could have a special year

i honestly think temple could beat psu (not saying it happens but wouldnt be shocked)
houston /louisville is realistic

Also, ECU/BYU will likely be primetime (ET) and get a ton of viewers. I can feel it.

That's a real solid lineup. I wonder how it compares to the MWC.

RE: Rank the AAC non-conference games
AAC are clear favorites:

Memphis @ Kansas
Vanderbilt @ Houston

Games that could go either way:

Penn State @ Temple
UCF @ Stanford
East Carolina @ Florida
Houston @ Louisville
UCF @ South Carolina
Virginia Tech @ East Carolina
Miami @ Cincinnati
East Carolina @ BYU
Syracuse @ USF
Cincinnati @ BYU

Games we have a puncher's chance of winning:

USF @ Maryland
Ole Miss @ Memphis
Notre Dame @ Temple
UConn @ BYU

Games we have virtually no chance of winning:

Duke @ Tulane
Baylor @ SMU
USF @ Florida State
Tulane @ Georgia Tech
UConn @ Missouri
SMU @ TCU
Tulsa @ Oklahoma
Navy @ Notre Dame

The ABSOLUTE best I could see our conference doing against P5's/BYU/Notre Dame is 7-17. I would be very happy with that. I think it's looking pretty grim though...

Not sure about UCF's chances in either game. I think Standford is a more likely victory than SCar, but you never know.

I think we're one year away from expecting to be in either of these games. Let alone both. Let's hope the incoming freshman contribute more than we expect them to.

Florida has like 4 scholarship O-linemen on their roster right now. ECU might have a chance in the swamp.

Unfortunately for you, they have 8 NFL DB's on their roster too.

As long as we can hold their offense, I think we can score on them. We put up nearly 600 yards on them in January.

Trust me, I'll be rooting for the lesser of two evils when the time comes. I just think it will be difficult scoring with a pass first team, against a defense strongest against the pass. You guys couldn't score on them enough to win without their head coach in a bowl game. It doesn't bode well when they actually have a head coach and an offseason to prepare.
