Allan 6'2 210 - WR
Jean-Louis 6'0 - WR

Here is where he stole this revelation from.

Like coach said, size doesn't mean anything if you don't have speed and mobility to go with it. Good thing is, these guys can move too for the most part.

I still like Litton at QB over Birdsong.

I like the idea of chase getting three years to start. The redshirt year he can spend learning the ins and outs, while next season he can back up birdsong. Can you imagine where we'd be this year had we had Cato redshirt? Let's not rush this kid. His time will come.

Or, can you imagine Cato not getting that experience in real games to develop and become a phenom on the field sooner. What if he got upset and transferred due to lack of playing time.

It is very difficult for anyone to sit behind someone more talented and swallow that for a couple years when you could be playing. Froh is one example.

Besides, if Litton can help us win, i say let him play now. I feel just as strongly about that kid over Birdsong as I did in Cato over Graham. Birdsong is not going to be a very good QB, he is more of a brian anderson type mediocre guy who will be inconsistent and vost us some games. JMO

You just don't like him because you had a run in with him and his dad at a bar in Boca

How in the world will anyone compete with these "X-Men" players Marshall has? Might as well all forfeit the season and crown Marshall's "monsters" champs...

I think I'll trust Doc and Coach Legg on this matter. If Chase can help us win now then so be it. If Birdsong is the guy, which by all indications he will be, then that's good too.

RE: Marshall might have the biggest group of skill players in the country
Chase had an uphill battle to climb from the start of camp. Back on NSD Doc said in several interviews he did it want to start a freshman at QB this year that if we had to we were in trouble.

Litton is more talented and has a higher ceiling than Birdsong. However Birdsong has experience as a starting QB at the collegiate level, albeit at the FCS level for a .50 team.

from everything I'very read or heard Birdsong isn't far and away better he just isn't thinking as much as Litton. Litton has showed flashes of a bright future. I would much rather start Litton now and get his freshman lumps out did the way.

He would have one of the deepest and most talented backfields in the country behind him to take away some of the pressure to have to do it all the way Cato had to when he started as a freshman. Plus starting him now gives him 3 years to play with McManus, AJL, and Foster. If he has to wait two seasons he will get just one year to play with that duo and that will be the year he is figuring out how to be the starter.

Did you cite a 6'0" WR as contributing to your awesomely huge skill players?

I hear Rhode Island's DBs average 5'2" 127lb, so the Herd should steamroll them again next year.

Can they really claim to be champion when they didnt even have to play Ark State and Louisiana?
