We've not heard anything about our current assistants and we've only hired one new one. Can I assume they will stay on until the end of semester and sort of keep the kids together while Coach Beard is out recruiting or scouting?

At the press conference Ted told my wife he had a job for 2 weeks. I would assume all the coaches are about to be unemployed.

Don't assume Ted is unemployed. Joe? I have no clue. It would be great if he was retained, but that is Coach Beard's call of course. Coach Cunningham has got bigger issues to worry about, and we all wish him well.

I'm not assuming anything. Just know his previous contract was expiring within the week.

I think we promoted Ted due to him being good for the program and he would work for less than other D1 Assistants.

He will probably make about the same money and move back into his old role.

Good for him.

Same thing happened to Asriel Rolfe. When Coach Foley had a vacancy he promoted her to Assistant coach for one year and she got a nice pay bump.

Ted has been a big part of this program, is an extremely hard worker, and I'd love to see him remain on the staff in some capacity.
