BC I think, and if so, good for them. New York in basketball and Ireland in football.

First I have heard of this. I would like this. The Atlantic 10 has a number of quality programs that would make for some fun games

Is this going to be an all ACC involvement thing or just a couple of teams from each conference?

"There will be one doubleheader per year each December from 2015-2017... Official matchups have yet to be set, but sources said the games should be set by May 1."

2 ACC teams per year, 6 total (assuming no duplication)

I would think Cuse, BC, ND, UNC, UL and other would be the top choices. I left Duke off simply because they already play in NYC each year (right?) and may opt out. But I don't proclaim to know what they'll actually do.

Given the teams in the A-10 I'd think UVa and Pitt might be naturals for this.

UVA vs VCU would be a made for TV matchup right now.

It is going to need one Big NYC draw to excite NYC (Cuse, Duke, UNC). Louisville would be a backup. ND or Pitt would be ok in a pinch. Not sure if UVA has built up enuf brand in NYC yet.

Marge throwing out BC as a draw is funny...

BC vs. UMass is a good draw.

Here are my first guesses (posted this time last year):

2015: Syracuse vs. U Mass / Duke vs. VCU
2016: Pittsburgh vs. St Joseph's / Virginia vs. George Washington
2017: Louisville vs. St Louis / UNC vs. Dayton

Total guesses, zero inside information!

Duke usually finds a way to play in NYC at least once a year. We also usually play the A10's Davidson every year. I'm not Kevin White, nor do I speak for him, but as a fan I'd be okay if Duke opted out or wasn't included.
