03-lmfao I was going to post the same thing. I agree it's a very good accomplishment for the league, but every week an arbitrary number is picked to fit the agenda. Next week I'm expecting something along the lines of "7 in the top 83"

Edit: I would have added to the rep but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it...

RE: Baseball RPIs April 16
i think we have a shot to get four in the tournament, which would be an excellent showing. I'd also love to see us get two into the super regionals, but that will be tough to do.

More like 7 in the top 80, and one boat anchor. 03-lmfao

Yeah, yeah, I know you beat us 2 of 3, lol.

Well, outside of Cinci, ECU has the most losses in the conf (15), along with a losing conf record (i.e. those 2 things won't help much in regards to a very high RPI).

RE: Baseball RPIs April 16
League is #3 in RPI as of now. Decent records against the Top 50 RPI.

RPI across the board starting to even out somewhat with all the conference play.

Says a lot about the strength of the conference when one of the best / highly ranked programs thus far is tied for last place. That's not a jab at UCF. It really shows the level of competitiveness and justifies that Top 3 conference RPI ranking.

The one thing our RPI lacks is that top 10 team. But it will come in the future. Well probably all be cannibalizing each other for 2/3 seeds over the last month.
Meanwhile, damn good start to the league.

AAC baseball should always be near the top. I look forward to seeing some our teams play in the CWS. I have long said that if Memphis ever makes it, I will walk to Omaha if necessary.

Having to replace games 3 against RPI top 100, two being top 50 with a team with an RPI of 226 sure didn't help, we easly won all 3 and our RPI dropped. We had another game we had to replace, RPI top 50 with one with RPI 287. Even with our record with the original schedule we would be top 60 RPI. In a rebuilding year.
