Cool. I've been to quite a few airports and Birmingham-Shuttlesworth is one of my favorites, along with Charlotte. Hope they can add even more flights.

What I'd REALLY like to see is them flying PNS-BHM, then I wouldn't have to make the drive from Mobile so often

Did Shuttlesworth ever ever develop a decent amount of international flights?

The only international flights are to the Caribbean.

They count the delta flights that go to London even though they change in Atlanta.

I checked and it's sill cheaper and quicker for ME to drive to Atlanta and fly to Ft Lauderdale than it is to fly from Birmingham to Ft Lauderdale. sigh.......

Silver goes to key west but it's ridiculous what the cost is. I can rent a car going to FLaud. and driving than flying. to the keys.

Oh well that drive is worth it.

I think they are trying to get a non-stop to Germany. The possible city for the non-stop flight is Bremen.

I am surprised that Memphis Blazer has not erupted by stating that this is not UAB related. A few weeks ago he chewed me out about a non UAB related post (it was football related post) that I put up...kinda afraid to post any more since I am trying to avoid Memphis Blazer's wrath

Working on it. The airport has a new customs area that is equipped to handle international flights.

There will probably be some international flights associated with the World Games in Birmingham. Whether or not any of those would become permanent fixtures, I'm not sure.

I didn't think about this. I knew they were trying to get some direct flights to/from Germany due to the German Car Plant in Vance.
