He's got limited shooting range, but he can score and is murder in the lane with his strength. He's not an ideal fit on some teams b/c he doesn't help spacing, but surround him with some shooters and his ability to bull into the lane is pretty damn useful.

Known by NBA people as one of top 10 drivers to the hoop due to his strength, ball handling and being able to finish-he's a shooting guard who plays good PG (rare).

He can be hell on wheels at times. Built like a house for a two guard.

I can find shooting guards everywhere. Give me a 6-6 slasher that can play point.

Yep. He can create a shot with the clock running down. That's what the NBA is all about. Those shooters can't make shots unless someone can create for them.

Absolutely true, both of you. He's been an undervalued player the last few years. Glad he is being recognized as a fairly upper echelon 2nd option player on a playoff team.

RE: Tyreke helps Pelicans get into playoffs
Tyreke, Westbrook, Lebron and Harden only guys to finish the season with 16+ ppg, 5+ apg and 6.5 rebounds.

Tyreke is second (behind only Demarcus Cousins) is shots attempted inside 5 feet at 9.2 a game (Zach and Marc combined for 10.8 a game.

I'm the only person that thinks NO may be a tough matchup for GS. A big guard like Tyreke will be tough on GS and with Davis presumably healthy, GS has no answer down low for that, plus it limits the guards on penetrating.

Three of their four games were close.

I'm not sold on the Warriors either. I think Barkley is right about them being a jump shooting team.

Lots of speed, lots of skill, lots of passing.

I'm not sure GS will win it all, but they aren't shabby. If the Pelicans are gonna hang, it's going to be on the back of Davis/Evans.

I think it'll be close too. Also remember their All Star PG Holiday is back from injury. They have a good backcourt and a solid front court. It'll be an interesting series.

I like that OKC is watching. They've been a charmed franchise. Time for them to pay their dues. Of course knowing their luck they'll win the lottery and get Okafor

You misspelled Towns.

Okafor will be the first pick. He's way better than Towns
Y

Okafor is a phenomenal talent...but I would be concerned (if I had any say in such matters) about his conditioning and his ability to be run out of the game simply by making him work.

The thing Okafor has going for him is being a legit C instead of the usual 4-posing-as-a-5.

Towns is a very polished player, surprisingly (for a Calipari player) nails free throws, and is a much better defender.
