Good News, and congrats to the Tennis team, We don't often hear about the success of some of the other sports on this board, thanks for posting!

I thought I read somewhere Chick Evans has been updated with tennis courts for the team to use. Is that correct?

Using the Chick as an indoor facility for the tennis teams was part of the Athletic Master Plan until money could be raised for the new indoor facility.

Given what has to be a modest recruiting budget, I wonder how he recruits all these players from foreign countries.

Now win the tournament this year. Last year they flopped.
Congrats on the two REGULAR Season championships.

Also on the women's team I saw that one of them went undefeated in singles this year. Believe she broke every Huskie record in women's tennis.

Nelle Youel. She dominated high school tennis at Crystal Lake Central.

As a former NIU men's tennis player, I am very impressed with the 2nd consectutive MAC title. Congrats!!

NIU is hosting the MAC Tournament over the next two days....just in case if you have nothing to do at 10am tomorrow.

10 a.m. Match 1: No. 4 Buffalo vs. No. 1 NIU
2 p.m. Match 2: No. 3 Binghamton vs. No. 2 Western Michigan

Saturday, April 25: Final
1 p.m. Winner of Match 1 vs. Winner of Match 2

At least we get to host 1 conference championship for something in our neck of the geographical conference woods.

NIU loses to Buffalo in the semi-finals in Men's tennis.
