I don't have any confidence in Pastner's ability to mold a group of talented individuals into a team; I just don't.

I don't either, because I have never seen him do it. However, you simply cannot get worked up about either of these guys leaving (not meaning 'you' personally, but in general). I see this as freeing up a scholarship with some high-level transfers out there.

I thought Jake McD was a walk on, along with Manse?

Yep, he could have stayed but would have been a walk-on.

It's definitely hard to keep up.

It feels a little like the scene from the movie 'major league' when they're trying to put together the roster. Scout: "This guy here is dead"..owner: "well cross him off the list."

Then you weren't paying very close attention. Granted, he never played because of the redshirt, but he was still on the team and there's been talk of him on here.

Just remember that Black is number 15 and he has a lot of plays called for him.

A high level of churn and turnover early in Pastner's tenure would have certainly been understood and acceptable. This late in the game it screams more to the lack of a solid plan on how to build a roster.

We have a good core so hopefully he fills these open spots with solid contributors. Anyone good available this time of year?

This all seems like grasping for straws to me.

RE: D'Marnier Cunningham and Jordan Manse to transfer
The Pastner apologists are absolutely hysterical.

We add a 0-star PG to a roster including two top 100 recruit PGs and an all-SEC transfer. He actually turns out to perform better than expected when he did get PT. Both top 100 recruits transfer, the all-SEC transfer was out of shape and doesnt know if his heart is in it or not, and in turn we add a couple of 2 star or lower guards. Now the said kid transfers, and Pastner apologists claim that he is upgrading the roster???!!??

Nothing against Broddie or the local kid Martin, but what is it that has some of you excited? Pastner couldn't coach 5 star kids to compete for anything that truly matters. Now he's getting clowned by players ranging all the way down to the walk-ons when they have a better chance of contributing and replacing them with lower and lower levels of talent.

Cant wait till next season

Please name the Pastner apologists. I keep hearing about them, but, like Bigfoot, I never actually see any.
