I guess the fans answering this poll hate UC. They are definately misinformed fans. Richest tradition; USF and Uconn over UC? Come on, 5th oldest program, I believe 7th oldest stadium in the country, Sid Gillman HOF, also players like Jim O'Brien. Involved in one of the oldest rivalries in the country with Miami. USF and Uconn tradition really does not come to mind.

I thought the tradition poll was a joke too. Unless losing is a 'tradition' worth noting the only thing RU has going for it is the 'first' game.

USF has been to 2 bowls, UConn 1 and they have a richer tradition then Cincinnati? As someone mentioned not only is Cincinnati the 5th oldest schools with the 7th oldest building, we have gone to bowl games 5 of the last 8 years. We have also gone to a couple of Sun Bowls winning some of those games. We have also beaten Top 10 and 25 teams, including Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl champions. We also have a conference championship. And, as far as tradition, how on earth do you put freaking Rutgers ahead of Louisville and Cincinnati!? That website is a joke.

I don't know what you guys are complaining about. How do you think Syracuse fans feel? Behind WVU? Just barely ahead of Rutgers? That's even a bigger joke. SU should be right there with Pitt.

Lots of fans today have no concept of history. They just assume teams that are good now have always been good IMO

Rutgers had one good season. I don't buy that fans today have no concept of history. My guess is that more RU fans were aware of this poll than most anyone else. That's the only way I can make sense of most of the polls on the page. Maybe UK fans too.

I love my team and think we can go bowling next year-but we haven't been better than UC recently and that is not likely to change anytime soon.

Neither us nor USF has tradition.
