It will be a used car from Driver's way and a duffle bag with undisclosed contents.

They don't do new cars. They do nice used ones and use pre-paid credit cards.

Actually, that is for football players at both SEC schools in this state. (Bama gets some cars from Driver's way. Not sure where Auburn get theirs) I know of a player that just graduated (snicker) that received pre-paid cards from both schools. One from one school and then was paid to flip and he kept the first school's money. But hey it's tolerated just like the rest of the corruption in this state.

You think I'm joking.......................

Not sure what basketball players get these days. Last I heard was nice jobs making more money an hour than most of us.

Not to pick on Ingram since he might just show up on campus with the same car he has now. If he has the same car but with no payments remaining on it, how would anyone know? No one who has kept track of what goes on in either of the state's hundred million dollar athletic programs should think you are joking.

Somewhat surprised but that means Hasse didn't want him. Which means he has someone better or is comfortable in that spot.

Among the teams that have reached out about Brown since he opted out of his LOI have been UAB, who offered Brown before his junior season at Morgan County, Memphis, Ole Miss and UGA.

He went to high school very close to Atlanta. Probably wanted to be closer to home. Not surprised they got him.

Don't know about that, we really struggled without Tosin at times this year.

I agree- though Tosin was a fouling machine, he was physical and we really did struggle when he was out, and that includes even minutes when he sat on the bench. Just look at the last 2 reg season losses with Tosin sitting to nurse a bad ankle. I'm really looking for Lee to put on some muscle and work that inside/low post, physical game. That can really make a big difference for us as well. But, it would be nice to have another talented big... just like EVERYONE else does.

UAB and Charlotte were among the schools that Mitchell was hearing from according to multiple sources.

I could see us using Madison in a backup power forward role, like rod Rucker. And I suppose Sullivan will pick up some power forward minutes. I still think it's a mistake not to sign one more guy, especially a big man.. So we would only have 10 guys on the roster if we don't sign anyone else? What happens if we have injuries or unforeseen events? That makes me nervous

I hope it is as simple as that.

To date, I have not heard of UAB MBB getting any commitment since Dec. 2nd. The longer that remains the case, the scarier the possibilities of why.

Norton, Watts, Baxter, Williams, Calhoun, Brown, Madison, Lee, Sullivan, Cokley, and Mehinti makes 11 expected contributors next year.
