It was a terrific game and win. I still get nervous watching it. 03-wink

Idiotic!

How about icing the kicker in OT when he didn't even make it to the endzone? Then he turns around and nails a 52 yarder.

I have it on my Tivo, so watched a lot of the second half. There were several situations where we had critical plays. If we did not make a 4th down conversion or a field goal....BYU won. Somehow, we kept pulling rabbits out of a hat. The expression on the BYU player after Elliott made that 52 year field goal is classic.

RE: Miami Beach Bowl Replay.
Actually, Elliot nailed a 55 yard field goal to push the game to the second OT session.

And that pigskin cleared the crossbar by 10+ yards. TIGER fans who were there near that end zone have told me that kick would have been good from 60+ yards. Elliot absolutely CRUSHED that second kick. That young man has ice water in his veins. He'll kick in the NFL in 2017.

Bronco clearly was wrong to try to freeze Elliot on the PAT attempt in the final 45 seconds of regulation. All BYU needed was a FG, having two TO's would've been helpful. I remember the ESPN broadcast team laughing about his decisions, especially the SECOND one.
