Evidently they are having trouble with the Alabama Legislative website where you can normally get stuff like email addresses - I have tried several times to get in this afternoon and it failed each time.

But just reading tea leaves - no actual knowledge - when we introduced the more moderate Jabo bills - IMHO we probably have given up on the Jack bills for this session especially since Jack endorsed them.

Agreed bean. We are going for a baby steps compromise at first strike. Luckily, the opposition continues to paint themselves stupider by the minute.

I would guess that is the case, however considering that the UA Alum President sent out an email to the UA Alums it must mean Jabo's bill is quite powerful.

Someone with graphics skills needs to make a good pro UAB bill graphic that can be mass distributed and communicated via Twitter and Facebook.

How many votes does it take for a bill to get out of committee?

I will be happy to correct. We have NOT given up on jack's bills. Let's be perfectly clear about that. We want to get all of them passed and negotiate towards a middle ground.

Support ALL the bills. send e-mails, letters, phone calls in support of each of them.
