It's happening, folks. Despite having a stranglehold on the second spot in the Western standings for the vast majority of the year, we are going to finish behind GSW, SA, LAC, POR, and HOU in the final standings. Probably looking at a first round matchup with the Clippers or Spurs.

And do you know what the path will likely be for the 2 seed? Dallas in the first, and the winner of HOU/LAC in the second, with home court! A dream road to the Finals for the Grizzlies. And they choked it away.

Optimistic as usual I see. Should have some clarity after tonight. If the Grizzlies win out they are the 2 seed. If they lose tonight they have to get some help from someone else. Just avoid the Spurs in the first round and we shall see.

Spurs will finish second if they beat the Pelicans on Wed. Injuries really hit this team at the worst possible time.

Heck if we had Marc the whole game on Saturday we most likely win.

Sure, in the same way that OKC "choked away" a playoff spot. We are a great team when at full force. We are just above average when we're down 2-3 starters. If Mike and Tony and Marc aren't in the lineup, I'm pretty sure Dallas, LAC, and HOU would beat us in a series. If we are healthy, we become a tough matchup for anyone in the west.

Hate to say it but if we get the 2 seed the 3/6 matchup would most likely be HOU/SA. Clippers would get 5th seed most likely

I'll take that. Just don't want any part of the Spurs in the first round
