RE: Memphis and Oklahoma H&H
Memphis and Oklahoma will begin a home-and-home series next season, with the first game being played at FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tenn., on Nov. 17...

...Oklahoma finished the 2014-15 season with a 24-11 record and lost to Michigan State in the Sweet 16. The Sooners will return four of their top five scorers, while adding versatile forward Dante Buford and 7-foot JUCO transfer Akolda Manyang.

As I have said before, if the university is truly making maximum effort to join the Big 12, it behooves us to schedule as many home and home games with their members as possible in ALL sports in order to establish familiarity and relationships.

"We have a lot of things to work on still. We're young, have a lot of new players to work into the system. I'll tell Tiger Nation to be patient. The team on the floor now is not the same one you will see in March."

Josh Pastner, Nov. 17, 2015 after Memphis' 84-69 loss to Oklahoma.

Why schedule a home and home if you're about to join the same league?

Wasn't this already known? Just the specifics is the only thing that's new, right?

Not a good time to be playing the Sooners. We would have been a little smarter to schedule Kansas St. or keep OSU.
