Tiger's fake injuries
I read Hank Haney's book a few years ago. Much of it was about his time as Tiger Woods coach.

Haney said that Tiger often exaggerated his injuries, especially when he wasn't playing well. Woods has played well this week in The Masters but is struggling today. As if on cue he "supposedly" hit a tree root on a short iron to the green. Made all kinds of drama out of it, and of course Faldo and Nance made it sound like he'd taken a blind hit from Louis Delmas.

I always root for guys on the downside of their career, but Woods isn't getting it for me anymore.

And Jordan Speith is freaky good. 18 under, has lead wire to wire.........he's 21.

From ESPN:

....After the round, Woods told CBS that a bone had popped out in his wrist and that he put it back in.....

Maybe so.

But in 23 years I have never even heard of that happening.

I thought the same thing while watching it... seemed extremely exaggerated.

When the camera showed him walking up to the green (after the awkward hit), and the whole right side of his body was slouched over favoring his wrist... it was just too much.

He is a complete drama queen.

Haney said that Tiger hung around athletes like Jordan and always wanted them to think of golf like it was a contact sport. I about fell out of my chair laughing when he talked about popping the bone back in. The poor guy is going Michael Jackson on us. An icon, but getting weirder as he gets older.

I was a Tiger Woods fan up until he hit that tree with his car. Seems like his excuses are more and more prevalent these days.

Yes, I believe they said Delmas was coming in from the other side of the tree, and as soon as Tiger hit the ball, Delmas smacked him hard. They followed WMU football when Delmas was kicking arse.

Woods is a bullying scumbag who treats people like shlt, makes excuses for everything and refuses to take responsibility for anything. I would't pi55 on him if he were on fire.

He's a POS. Too bad Faldo (or whoever it was) didn't have the stones to challenge Woods and ask to see his wrist.
