The rest of the roster did get 6 BB, a hit, a SH, and 2 HBP.

The rest of the lineup went 1 - 18 on the day against the bottom of the UAB pitching staff.

You are cracking me up. I can't tell when you are tongue in cheek or not. I need to get my sarcasm meter adjusted.

Coach tonight (radio show) talking about Byrd's BB - SO ratio. Says, the other teams can read (the stats). They know they don't have to throw strikes to Leon. He needs to adjust, becaust they can read...

No kidding. And amazing this is coming from Leon, who had such great plate discipline and OBP his Freshman season (and the beginning of this season). His ABs the past 3+ weeks have been consistently horrible.

Any other tid bits from The OG regarding the team's current funk? I'm still scratching my head how a team with a .240 batting AVG entering the series against weaker competition managed to take batting practice against McCanna, Pettitte (twice), Ditman and Stephens.

It's time to see what this team is made of; whether it has the leadership and determination to turn the season around. Here's hoping.

Maybe Augie and Wayne need to have a beer together. Stay away from the Blue Bell and wine for a few weeks.
