RE: OT: Game Of Thrones (SPOILERS)
First decent episode of the year. Last year we had the Geofery-Sansa wedding was episode 2 or 3---which got the season moving moving early and set the tone. This year---lots of traveling around and table setting---but nothing really happened until this week.

Obviously the battle was great; however, I also like the dialogue between Daenerys and Tyrion. Kind of tired of Cersei though.

Totally agree. Though "The Meeting" occured in the last episode--in reality, it happened in the final seconds of the show and the had no real opportunity to talk (again, more traveling and table setting). Tonight was the real "meeting" and it was very interesting. Tyion's dialogue is always well written and this scene did not disappoint.

Tyrion was always the most politicaly adept Lannister. He and Daenerys will be a formidable duo and I'm looking forward to when they show up in Kings Landing with the dragons.

RE: OT: Game Of Thrones (SPOILERS)
Been looking forward to Tyrion and Daenarys meeting for a long time. Hasn't even happened in the books yet.

So glad that we haven't had the plot bogged down by whiney-ass bran stark.

Disappointed by Sansa though. I thought she was coming into her own, only to revert back to whiny Sansa again.

The Slavers Bay stuff in the show makes all of the Griff/Little Griff stuff seem completely irrelevant in the books. Super happy with the Hardhome stuff, wasn't in the books and was SO MUCH BETTER than what has happened in the North there.

What language does the giant speak and does he seem bigger than his giant buddies from the season 4 episode when Mance raided the wall?

Wow....that last scene was a chilling, fade to black....cut to the credits without any any music kinda good. With nothing more than barely noticeable shrug accompanying his raised arms....that White Walker just stole the entire season. It was like a "...your move, bro" kind of moment when he raised the massive pile of dead Wildlings, while Jon Snow watched in horror less than 100 feet from shore.

The Old Tongue

"the common tongue" and valerian are known languages in GOT. There is no old tongue.
