Seems like every Duke basketball fan has a different football team. That team will be whoever was on top when they were picking their teams.

I'll ask how did Duke do Saturday the response is I pull for FSU in football for example.

Yeah, Iowa football was given the same seed. I know some folks around here may not like me much but I am not a good representation of Iowa football fans. Everyone has their bad apples but overall they may be some of the friendliest fans out there. They also understand the reality of Iowa football right now.

Ohio State football fans on the other hand? Careful what you wear if you go there as a visiting team.

It depends. L.S.U. baseball fans are great to be around. L.S.U. football fans are abhorrent. But oddly enough Terry D. the worst, most arrogant and condescending fans I've ever been around are Vanderbilt baseball fans. Heck for baseball even Alabama fans were cordial and fun to be with. It's too bad we have candidates for a thread like this.

South Carolina (there young fans are so cocky because they are too young to remember being terrible for years. However there older fans are very humble. I respect that they put 85000 in the stands when thet weren't good.

I would flip flop your first two but the rest are pretty spot on. UNC fans are beyond pathetic. I will say that some of the graduates (the ones that actually went to class) can be OK. The fans that are bandwagon are beyond pitiful and most are what is wrong with college sports today. They treat the team like a professional team rather than representative of the university. Most UNC fans would be appalled by the liberal teachings of UNC Chapel Hill. Most UNC Chapel Hill fans don't realize there is actually a university that goes along with the athletic teams. Just my opinion. .

Basically any teams that have a huge bandwagon population, UT fans are okay but they get annoying at times and I have never experienced USC/UCLA fans in real life so I can't say how annoying they are.

Most annoying fans are regionally based. I get that, say, NC State and ECU fans probably find UNC fans more annoying or Kentucky and Louisille fans have reciprocal hate, but that really dissipates outside of their respective regions. In contrast, annoying Duke and ND fans have no geographic boundaries. They are coast-to-coast. Your average person in LA or Chicago doesn't really have that strong of an opinion on UNC or Alabama, but they are very clear on how they feel about Duke and ND. They take it to another level.

I don't know about basketball but for football I'd put fans of TSISB (ND) in the championship game. Though I'm in the midwest so I have more experience with them. O$U's nearly as bad but they at least have a reason to be arrogant.

The Texas Tech fan is telling the truth. Unfortunately, what gets publicity is the initial accusation.

I'd also toss UGA football fans into the mix. Alumni that I have come across, have been cool for the most part. But their wal mart fans are atrocious.

Georgia, West Virginia, Ohio State, LSU, Alabama. All have separated themselves tremendously from the rest.

I'd list Iowa as a real underrated one.
