The Little Rock Trojans hung on to win the first game of the weekend series 4-2. Little Rock got out to an early 4-0 lead, but Texas State had three one run innings to go to the top of the ninth only down one. They got runners on first and second with two out, but Little Rock closed the game out on a pop up to the shortstop. Little Rock is now 9-6 in conference play. The next game of the three game weekend series is tomorrow at 2 pm.

There was a nice crowd out at the ballpark on a beautiful Friday night. Gary Hogan Field looks great and is a very pleasant place to watch a game!

I had a good time there tonight. Saw a lot of Tip In club members out there.

Simply a perfect night. Couldn't have had more perfect weather if I had a weather control thermostat. Nice crowd. An excellent, well-played college baseball game. No errors by either team. Solid defense. Good pitching. Over in 2.5 hours. And the home team won with the winning runs on base in the top of the 9th inning. Couldn't have been a better night for Little Rock baseball.

I was at the game as were Jim T, Scotto, Festiva, MJS, and PTJR.

TROJANS now 1 game out of 1st and 1/2 game out of 2nd.
