Here's to hoping Kent State sweeps Ball State @ Schoonover Stadium to get revenge from last year in Munice IN when Ball State swept Kent State.

Kent State (17-11, 6-3) will host Ball State (21-10, 7-2) in a three-game conference series at Schoonover Stadium. Game times are scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 4 p.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m.

This should be a fun series. The weather should improve as the weekend goes on.

Kent State 3 Ball State 0 in the top of the 7th. Jensen Clagg dealing, but in a little bit of trouble in the 7th. (held Ball State to 3 hits thus far)

Kent State has 8 hits through 6 innings with Curtis Olvey leading the way going 2 for 2 with a walk. No Luke Burch, so not sure if he is hurt or just sitting out this game?

Ty Linder hinted that Burch was injured. Not sure what it is though.

Both softball and baseball had pretty good crowds yesterday. I would say softball had between 75-100 and baseball around 150-200. There were mostly students at the baseball game.

Gave one away today. 3 unearned runs and couldn't score against a guy with an ERA over 5.

Flashes killing it today in the rubber game. Up 8-2 in the 8th.

And the Flashes almost "killed it" in the ninth surrendering 5 runs. Good weekend nonetheless. Ball St. was the toughest opponent (RPI wise) left on the schedule.
