Saw that. Reminds us of our own.

Anyone know what of Ashlee Barrett? I lost track of that story.

RE: Lauren Hill, terminally ill basketball player, dies
Being from Cincy and a lifelong Xavier fan, I have been following Lauren's story since her game in Nov.

Her courage amazes me. To know you are going to die, and be so purposeful yet selfless. I think the moment she "go me" is when she spoke at Cintas. So many would have fell to pieces in that moment, and simply thanked everyone for their support. Lauren thanked everyone, but she also firmly and eloquently delivered her message. She didn't let that moment or any moment her last 15 months pass without squeezing every bit of purpose, care, joy, and love out of it that she could. I felt like I knew her. She opened herself up to the world. With her body shutting down and fighting her, she would not let it stop her. What an amazing example for us all.

If anyone wants to donate to help fight pediatric cancer, the link to Lauren's Club 22 is below:

ESPN has a nice tribute of Lauren:

God Bless you Lauren Hill!
