Watching the Rockets Spurs game, another thing they can do to speed up the game is clean up flopping and the Hack-a-player strategy. It's taken 40 minutes to play 10 minutes of game play.

It's hard to cut back on flopping because the rules are there but the officials are very reluctant to make the "flopping" call. Same is true in soccer. The flop has to be one of the worst acting jobs you've ever seen before they'll call it. There was a soccer match a few weeks ago in which the flop actually was called -- and the player was red-carded (ejected) -- because it was so ridiculous that even the player's teammates were embarrassed. The player just lay on the ground motionless for about five minutes. That's what it takes before an official will make that call.

I saw some horrible acting by the Spurs tonight. I hadn't seen acting so bad since Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. 07-coffee3 They make John Stockton and Karl Malone look like they played straight up.
