If only the end of the season results warranted such devotion. But it's been a long time for the Reds.

Just saw a write up about the game. Why in the heck is Kevin Gregg pitching in the 8th inning? I think any of those 3 Nasty Boys right now would be a better option over Kevin Gregg.

I don't know much about him. He better learn to change speeds or mix in a slider cause
he won't last pitching batting practice. He isn't Chapman.

Yep, and being in the same division as the Cards sucks, they are like the Steelers to us.
Reds have had some bad luck also. In 94' they were looking awesome in first place, then the strike and no World Series. In 80' they had the best record in baseball and did make the playoffs.
They had a really good shot at the WS a few years ago. Had SF down 2-0 heading back to Cincy and SF won 3 in a row.

Gregg is awful. Had a 10.00 ERA last year in 9 innings with the Marlins.

In '94 the Expos say hello. Just looking if the season ended the way it was in August- the Reds would have had to play the Braves, while Expos got the Dodgers. So Maddux, Glavine, Avery, and Smoltz all in their prime. Also no lock they would have finished ahead of Houston who was 1/2 game back.
