That is going to be a super tough schedule if we are in the B12 that year.

Coming back to this dimension we really need to dump/move that 2019 away game vs Nebraska. 3 away games vs P5 teams...yikes.

09/07 - at Utah
09/14 - at Nebraska

Disagree! To be the best, you have to play the best. Let Nebraska be the ones who try to dump the game when they realize it may not be the tune-up game they expected. Like Iowa in 2013.

If the Huskies are ever going to get back to a top tier bowl game, they are going to have to beat a top tier team in the season.

If the Huskies are still in the MAC in 2019, Nebraska can not keep them out of the MAC championship game.

Do you not realize that we were a CMU win away from going to the Access Bowl last year? Our only P5 win was vs NU yet even with the loss to CMU and bludgering by Arkansas we were still in the Access Bowl conversation. Weather this past team deserved to be in that conversation is a totally different argument.

Now if you want to say that this schedule could possibly put us in the conversation for a top 4 ranking (also requiring a magical rainbow shooting out of our backsides) and into the playoff conversation if we were also unbeaten after the MACC then I would agree with that.

How much are we getting paid by Nebraska per game to play them at their place?

I still can't believe an interim AD was allowed to sign off on the Nebraska deal.
Somebody should have paid the price for that one.

Agree 100% on that. I wish we could just void that one.

That's a great slogan and all but once we have those fancy new Skyboxes, lodge and club seats we will NEED to have 6 home games a year to keep the donors paying big bucks for those seats happy.

On top of that as is that would put our home opener in week 3. Everyone went nuts 2 years ago when we had a week 3 home opener. We should move the game to 22, 24 or 25 if we still cant get them to re-commit to a Soldier Field game in 2029.

Move the 2019 Neb game to some other year. Open the season at Utah, have a week 2 home opener vs a good G5 team, a week 3 game vs a weak G5 team then go play at Vandy on a Friday night...nothing to look down on that schedule.

Worst part for me was it was originally a 2-1 deal and then switched to a 4-0, great move Spears.

Yea, what the heck was that? How does that happen? I don't mind playing @Nebraska but 4 times in 8 years?

No idea who has the ball in the court as far as finalizing which year the game will be. Wouldn't mind knowing what either one of us are waiting for before the game is set and announced.

I also wonder if Frazier and the Toledo AD would consider being in cahoots and purposefully leave open a week 1 or 2 the same year so that the MAC would have to schedule our matchup when fans would actually be able to show up.

Doubtful. Toledo's season being over in week two would kill their attendance the rest of the year.

Now now, they'd still have the Bowling Green game and the recruiting season. Those are the only things they need to win.

Move Toledo to the MAC East, then the Huskies and Rockets could meet for the MACC every season.
