RE: Women Softball Sweeps Hofstra Saturday
I am not sure what a good softball coach makes but according to Richmond Times salary database he's at 83k (2013). If that's low I'd look into a raise at the end of the year seeing how deep the team goes this year, he's certainly earned it in my book.

How is this related?

This what happens when people take a post out of context. Please see Longhorns post just prior to mine. I was responding to his comments on JMU baseball.

Jailyn Ford just threw the first PERFECT GAME in JMU Softball history down at ECU. Congrats to Jailyn and JMU Softball on another convincing win. I really think this team is going to go places.

The perfect game deserves its own thread - a once in a lifetime type accomplishment, and the first in school history. If I hadn't known about it through facebook I may not have even been inclined to open this thread. We need to publicize these things much more to balance out the football conference rhetoric.

Lady Dukes swept a double header from the Blue hens today. Won the first game 13-0 on a one hit shutout by Megan Good who is now 21-0. Won the second game 12-3 behind great pitching from J. Ford and an inning of sterling relief from H. Keifer.

The Dukes are now 36-6 overall and 13-0 in conference.

Go Dukes!!

No what's silly is she's this dominate yet she's just a Freshman. Just imagine what she'll be like in 2-3 years.....

A great performance by Megan Good today, and JMU's other big starter, Jailyn Ford, is 13-4 and just a Jr. so this pitching duo will continue to roll next season.
